Star of his own ...

Do you have any friend who is a star of his/her own? Well, I have one. He is young, talented and energetic, living in Petaling Jaya and currently is doing Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in Subang. At the age of 20 years old, he owns a wide range of yoyos, comprising thousands of different models from all around the corners of the world.

Introducing,

Ewin ...

Malaysia No 1 Off-String Yoyo Champion

He is a Star of his own ...
At present, he is ranked Asian No 2,
Malaysia no 1 for Off-String Category.
For your information,
Off-String Category is an event
where the yoyo is spun around,
doing complicated tricks,
fly here and there,
round and round,
vertical and horizontal
with NO string attached!
Unbelievable?
It is not easy ooh ...

Yoyo of Glory!
He purposely bought this new yoyo,
specially ordered from Singapore
for the next upcoming
Asia Pacific Yoyo Championship (APYC)
on 31th November 2008.
He hopes with his new yoyo,
bright red symbolizes glory and good luck
will come abundantly
throughout the competition.
I have the honor to collect
this yoyo with him at
post office 2 weeks ago.
Hope to shed some luck from
his very ONG yoyo ...

In the Air ...
He aims to soar high,
in the blue, calm sky
and becomes a star
one day.
One of his favorite trick - In The Air!

He believes nothing is impossible,
and impossible is nothing!
Reason?
He can make the yoyo
to spin up against the
Law of Gravity.
Einstein and Newton definitely
will not be pleased with this!
Lolz :)

This is my favourite shot for Ewin ...
Very blue sky,
shot this in Pantai Chenang, Langkawi,
when he was busily
playing his yoyo.
See, my DsLr can freeze his yoyo!
Yeah, Sony Alpha rocks!
Say YES to Alpha ...

This post is specially dedicated to
my colleague, Ewin,
for his upcoming APYC in Singapore.
Wish him all the best
for representing Malaysia.

He is not just a friend of mine,
but he is also my sifu
in photography.
Wow ...

All the best

cHeErS,
KeithK :)
