My memorable birthday ...

It has to be an unexpected surprise, always. This group of friends of mine have been really great, they threw out a surprise birthday lunch for me last Thursday at FullHouse Restaurant in NZX Commercial Centre. Last year, they celebrated my birthday with me at Nalis Restaurant in Subang, and this year, they did an awesome job again by giving me another wondeful 21st blessed birthday memories. Indeed, my 21st birthday will not be as colourful as it was without them all. To Wen Jie, Ewin and Daniel: You all make my day! Thanks so much :)

Here the prime time. Yup, you got it right! It is pictures' time ...

Tada ... !

The BBQ grilled chicken chop is amazing.
Ewin and I took this, and
both of us agreed it was well-prepared.
A thimb-up to the chef!

This was the biggest surprise they gave me!
No cake, nevermind, we use Big Apple Donuts.

Buka Puasa Session ...

Last Thursday, my batch mates in college, around 20 of us of those who are under the sponsorship of M A S had organized a 'berbuka puasa beramai-ramai' session at H ar tz Chicken Buffet Restaurant in S un wa y P y ra m id. It has been a tradition for all of us ever since the first year, and the culture continues again this year. The dinner will be started at 730pm, but the restaurant was already fully packed by 630pm as people were rushing in to 'buka puasa' as well. So damn packed! Haha :) Can hardly walk along the narrow alley inside the restaurant. Here are some of the pictures as I promised before;

His first reaction when he entered Hartz.
Guess what he saw?
The too many people in the restaurant?
Or something else?
He is Nabil, by the way ...
He is also an Alpha 200 user.
Hehe :)

He saw this! H a r tz's Chicken challenge signboard -
"All you can eat" Buffet!
Oh my God.
Nabil thought, " I am going to whack all the food here!"
Lolz :)

Meet Fadzli, a guy from Sepang.
I spotted him 'curi makan' before the session started.
Haha.
"Oopps -.-", you caught me, Keith,"
he told ...

The happy couple, Wjie (L) and Arab (R) ...
How lovely they were to share their food together ...

Special invited guest, our instructor, Mr Bad.
Ehmmm, don't get me wrong.
He isn't bad, his name is Mr Badarul.
Since he is still young and single,
we use to call him, Abg Bad ...
Lolz ;)

Another funny scene ...

More events are lining up after this.

Looking forward to meeting
my friends in Kuching next week.
College has been quiet these few days as

Home sweet home!

Warmest regards,

Flowers in Garden

Sorry for the lack of updates to all my readers, I have been pretty busy for this week, particularly with Module 3 Electrical Fundamentals exam which will be held next Tuesday. Then, I had a 'Berbuka Puasa' session with my colleagues in Hartz Chicken in Sunway Pyramid. Took some pictures, but I have had no opportunity to upload them into my PC. Damn, one of my PC was infected by TrOjAn kUdA, so I don't to take the risk =.=" Need to find a solution. Any suggestions?

Flowers' shots from the garden ...
All shots were taken with my Kit Lense 1870mm
If only I had a macro lense, the effect will be marvelous!

"Bunga Kertas" @ Bougainvillia

The lonely Bougaunvillia ...

Any idea what is this flower?
It looks very colourful to me;
just like the colour of the rainbow ...

The lovely couple ...
I am happy with this shot,
the color is variety and refreshing!
What do you think?

All C&C are most welcomed for the pictures above.
Just a short post this time,
will be back with more pictures soon.

Happy Viewing!

All the best,
KeithK :)

3 years now ...

16th of September 2006 ... 3 years ago at this day, I was here, standing in midst of the tarmac, I stood long there, staring quietly into the future of aviation as I mounted a challenge and dream upon my shoulders to establish myself as a successful Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in the next five years to come. Time flies, and 3 years time in M E T C has been a series of ups and downs, joys and cries. No doubt, my college has been through major changes, in terms of appearance and management; of cause changes are mend to be better and better. From a tiny unknown aviation college in the heart of Subang Airport, we have grown to become one of the top Malaysia's aviation training college. Ever since the college was officially launched by our DPM, all eyes are set on us, particularly we are first training college who offer the latest EASA programme. Lately, M E T C has bought a Fokker-27 aircraft for us to carry out our practical training. It is indeed a huge achievement considering all the obstacles that we had came across thus far.

3 years ago, I am a total noob in aircraft, God knows what is Squirrel Cage Induction Motor? Hydraulics System? Or maybe RCL Circuit? By now, I should be able to answer all these, not perfectly enough but at least not the worse. Life is a journey, and process of learning is endless, you have to believe that! Otherwise, you will never march forward. Hopefully, this third year will be a memorable and exciting year in college, after this, we will proceed to M A S C o mp lex A to further our training. There will be one exam coming up before Raya's break, so total up, let's see, I should complete the remaining 8 modules before graduating. Wish me all the best ...

Some shots from college during my free hour ...

Paper plane floats in the air ...
Guess how we manage to do that?
Lolz :)

Mooncakes ...

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Lantern Festival (中秋節, zhōng qiū jié) is celebrated by the Chinese annually on the 15th day of eighth month in the Lunar calendar. For those who have forgotten, this coming Sunday, 14th September will be the celebration of Lantern Festival. Lolz :)

It is also this day, the Chinese family and friends will gather to have dinner while admiring the bright mid-autumn moon; of cause the event will only be more significant with the presence the traditional moon cakes and colorful lanterns. I recalled when I was still young, I used to carry the brightly-lit lanterns around the neighborhood with my cousins. Really missed the time we had joys and laughter together...

Pictures of my moon cakes ...

Blue Sky ...

This is another quick post from me again. Lolz :)

The sunset sky in the evening ...
Shot this picture from my apartment
Seem to be cloudy sky ...

Horizon in South China Sea...
This picture was taken during my flight back to Kuching
Love the mixtures of blue color.
The blue color will be nicer if only I had a filter
Haha :)

On days of grey,
when dark clouds over my view,
Is so hard to see past my fears,
My strength seems to fade,
and it's all I can do,
To hold on till the light reappears,
Still I believe,
though some rains bound to fall,
That's you are here next with me,
You are over it all

When the sky still blue,
for my hope is in you
You're my joy,
You're my dream that still alive
Like the wind on my back,
like the sun on my face
You are life,
You are the grace,
You are blue sky
You are my blue sky ...

Happy Reading!

Aircraft Marshalling ...

Aircraft Marshalling is one of the utmost procedure in aviation, particularly in aircraft ground handling at line station or airport. This morning, as parts of our practical in college, I have learned the basics of marshalling signals. Generally, aircraft marshalling is a procedure where a ground line personnel will guide and assist the pilots during taxiing of aircraft in or out of the parking bay. Well, I am sure you have seen aircraft marshalling before when you are on the queue to board the aircraft from the aero-brigde; a line personnel usually holds a pair of illuminous so called ping-pong bat (marshalling wane) and waving to the aircraft during taxiing.

It is quite interesting to learn the hand marshall signals, it has to be my first time, I must admit that. Here is a brief description on marshalling and some common signals that have been adapted globally. However, there are a few additional hand commands that cannot be found in this article such as brake on, salute the aircraft and "this way". Learn it from now on, and who's knows, next time you may guide an aircraft to land and park in front of your house! Haha :)

A video on aircraft marshalling. Enjoy!

Good night everyone ...
Exam is coming before Hari Raya!
Yeah ...
