A pilot flew the aircraft safely to its destination. Upon arrival, he wrote a report into the Maintenance Report 1 (MR1) and handed it to Engineer in charge at the airport which sounded, " A mouse observed entering the aircraft ". The pilot then left the Engineer with a big question mark hanging over his head, while he left to the washroom ... As he returned, the smart Engineer passed over the MR1 to the pilot and wrote, " A cat is observed chasing the mouse out of the aircraft! "

Actually happened before with a slightly different entry made by engineer.
This joke has lots of version and passed around to the apprentice.
I've seen cockroaches and mosquitoes entries in tech log. We as maintenance crew must rectify the problem. Some countries may not allowed the flight to depart without the problem solved.
Virtualmystic: Yeap, Hj Khai was the one who shared with us last Saturday. Regarding the cat, it was solely added in by me to spice things up. Oh ya, Hj Khai knows you too. He saw our work schedules with your name/stamp, instantly, he remembers about you. Haha. You must be well-known in the floor. Great!
Anonymous: Cockroaches and Mosquitoes? That's more odd. If mosquitoes in the aircraft is still not too bad, but how if it is a cockroaches? Does it means we need to search the whole aircraft ups and down for the cockroaches? Wow. Guess it is handy if we have contact number for Pest/Insects Control Team in our phone sometimes. Haha :)

cockroaches? Yup, if tech crew reported, you have to do something with it, either you rectify it or defer it. You won't learn this in book and not many people working on the floor knows how to deal with it. find an opportunity and learn it.
