Going Beyond Expectation

MAS Managing Director, Datuk Seri Idris Jala has announced that MAS is going to buy up to 55 Boeing 737-800 which cost about MYR 13.4 billion under its Business Transformation Plan. This new aircrafts are going to replace the current aging fleets of B737-400. At the same time, MAS also places confirmation on the delivery of 6 Airbus 380-800 inclusive of compensation from Airbus Industries in a win to win situation. The first B737-800 is expected to arrive at MAS doorstep by 2010 and then follow by 6 A380-800 at the beginning of year 2011. Wow (",) It is going to be milestones for MAS for years to come.

Personally, I feel proud for MAS, new aircrafts brings new dimension for more efficient and higher quality of air services in Malaysia. MAS has gone through the ups and down, thin and thick; and this is what we term as achievements. The spirit of MH (Malaysian Hospitality) with our Jalur Gemilang painted on the aircrafts will soar high around the globe. Next, my achievement is to have the opportunity to obtain the Type Ratings of these aircrafts in future. I must work hard from now, yeah? Haha :)
