Ronaldo saved the day ...

Marking his 100th appearance for United, Christiano Ronaldo made it a sweet memory as he steered United to another 1-0 win over Birmingham City in St Andrew. With Arsenal also managed to overcome West Ham with the same scoreline, the win proved to be vital to keep United on course for the EPL title challenge. Nevertheless, Birmingham City looked to be a better side, as they put up a fiercesome attacking gameplay. If you were watching the game, you would definitely shouted at the United's players everytime the Blues got the ball, "Hey, get the damn ball and clear it off, man" Compliments should be given to United's defence as keeper van Der Sar and defender Rio Ferdinand made crucial saves to ensure the game remained in balance. The only casualty of the game was the injury substained by van Der Sar as he encountered a hard knock at his toe. He was substituted by Tomas Kuszhazk at the intervals. The win is a precious 3points, quoted Sir Alex Ferguson, " This is one of the toughest game we had this season so far, we got through it." As United's next test with AS Roma in Uefa Champions League in Old Trafford, United definitely need to pull up their socks to ensure their dreams in Europe continues to shine.
Gel up United! We want another 7-1 history, yeah!!
