Blessing ... Be grateful!

Corner Talk: So, ManUtd's dream of becoming the first ever club to win a quintuple in a single season was lashed out by the timid Everton in Wembley Stadium over the last weekend. Ironically, the senior lads who Sir Alex Ferguson hoped to secure the winning points for ManUtd were the culprits. Striker Berbatov and Captain, Rio Ferdinard missed the penalty kick-out, and there you go, ManUtd was kicked in the ass! Sir Alex definitely loses the gamble this time by playing a squad of young crops. For the first time, I saw a chick who looks alike Melissa Ng sat in the mamak shop, all alone, lonely and ... she smokes! Wasted!! Ended up, I spent most of the 45 minutes first half watching her more than I watched the big screen. Lolz :)

If you consider yourself grateful, but, yet still complaint about the blessing that you have, you should indeed click the link below to a video. I received this video from a friend of mine, very touching and meaningful. Do spend some time to watch it and reflect it yourself! Consider yourself to be lucky for whatever blessing you are enjoying now ... Stop complainting and make a difference!

Chicken and Chinese Wolfberries Soup

Corner Talk: Presentation on Saturday to fellow colleagues was quite smooth sailing. Glad everyone was giving full co-operation and supports. Instructors were happy with our performance. Well done to my team members, Ewin and Nurlin. After all, considering the time we were given and the depth of our presentation (Flight Director System), it was nevertheless, a productive outcome. The whole Saturday's evening was spent on washing my car. Last week, the bottom part of my car was tainted with road tar black oil. The road cum highway to my college was under maintenance, they re-tar it for there were many holes and cracks due to heavy loading from large vehicles, especially, the 10 tonnes lorries. Lolz :) I cant fully remove the oil staint yet, but, at least it doesn't look so obvious now. End up, it took me 2 hours to clean two sides of my car. Phew ... Chelsea wiped aside Arsenal for FA Cup final. Expected! Arsenal still lacks of experience in playing at big stage tournament. Tonight, ManUtd versus Everton for another slot in final. Go ManUtd, go ...!!!

Are you tired of eating outside food with high content of salt, MSG and oil? Why don't you spend some time to pamper yourself with a healty diet over the weekend? Cooked a healty soup yesterday, so here it goes ... Simple step by step recipe from Mum, with a little bit of practise and innovation, I can boil soup now. Haha :)

ManUtd brushed Porto FC aside ...

Corner Talk: Today marks 5 months and 8 days away from my LWTR examination in September. Module 13.8 Instrument and Module 13.3 Autopilot had been covered so far. Still plenty to come, 13.1 till 13.10. Autopilot is a tough subject, I have to admit that. It took me quite some time to understand it, and, up till this moment, I am still not very comfortable with Autopilot yet. I really need a time for revision!! Autopilot - Make Pilots' life easier, but, make Engineers' life harder!! However, there are always other external factors which obstruct me, not from myself but from other sources!! I am trying my very best to cope with all these; nevertheless I am racing against time. I can feel the tense now, some time, I could have hurt people around me, especially, my friends because of my temper. Forgive me if I could have done bad to you all. I keep reminding myself, " every single minute counts, every effort can make a difference ". Almighty God, I pray for your blessing to give me the power and strength to get through all these obstacles ...

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a sensational thunderbolt goal
from 35 yards away was sufficient
to put ManUtd through and
overcame the bravery Porto FC
in the UEFA Champions Leagues Quarter Final
last night thus setting up an
all English semi-final against Arsenal.

Ronaldo punched in the air after scoring for ManUtd.
His 20th goal of the season,
second in the Champions Leagues
proved vital and precious as ManUtd
had to endure the most of the
hard pressing and aggressive attacking football
from the Portugal outfit after
Ronaldo gave the Red Devils a lead in the 6th minute.

He is the man ... Sir Alex Ferguson,
becomes the first manager for an English club to defeat Porto FC
at home ground.

Glory ManUtd! Glory ...!!

With thought,
KeithK :)

Have you watched Unborn?

Corner Talk: Module 10 Paper 2 Essay examination has just ended this morning. Huge relief! It shouldn't be any problem this time, hopefully everything will be fine. I decided to take a little off from revision tonight; days were quite packed last week with Aviation Legislation, most probably, I was finding excuse to have a break. Haha. Module 13.3 Autopilot starts this afternoon. Wooh ... Another big subject to come. Latest update from college, we are still expected to sit for our LWTR Examination by 24th September 2009 in DCA. Anyone knows what day is on the 24th September? It is my birthday!! Waaahhh ... Oh my ... Haha :) As time is drawing closer, Batch 06 will not have any semester course break (30th May to 7th June) this term around. No complaint! Time is running out ...

Anyone has watched The Unborn? It is a must-watch for those horror-flick movie fan. Simple story line, high intensity of goosebumps, thrilling and full of suspense! My rating: 7.5/10 ... So far, Ju-On is still my favourite ghost/horror movie. Nevertheless, it is a movie worth watching ... Haha :) Wanna know more 'bout Unborn? Click here for review ...

Have a mild headache today,
got to head to bed now,
Good night!
Cheers,

Doulos' Outing ...

Corner Talk: Somehow, today, things were a little bit a mess, firstly, my Module 10 Aviation Legislation examination paper 2 Essay was postponed to next week, otherwise, I will be jumping ups and downs over my weekend. Secondly, my access card for parking was soaked into water when I washed my clothes. My bad, I should have remembered to take it out from my pocket. Thanks God, the access card is still functioning after I checked with the management. The personnel in charge was a helpful guy, phew ... Thirdly, my right back shoulder was aching due to bad sleeping posture over the last few days. Just bought a SalonPas plasters just now, will need to put it up tonight. Plan over this weekend will be revising for my Module 13.8 Flight Director System. Really need to catch up and polish some of the topics since the memory are still fresh. Air Legislation? Of cause, still have to do some parts too, for Paper 2 Essay next week ... Sigh. Really get pissed off sometimes ...

If you still recalled some of posts back a month ago, I was covering on a day trip with my oversea friends from Doulos' Ship. My apologies for taking such a long time to complete the post. Been quite busy with exams and assignments, but then, Module 10 Exam is still halfway to completion. Sigh ... Anyway, here are some of the pictures ... For refresh, click here ...

Creeping Wild Orchids

A monkey from Kuching ...
Or Tarzan?
Haha ...
He is Chung Ann,
my best buddy since high school ...

Group picture 1
(Front, L-R) Katherine, Solome from Germany,
Anna from Mexico,
(Back) Chung Ann and Mei Chin

Super Bokeh ...
Green Tea leaves ...
Love this picture!!
It turns out to be exceptional!

Next stop,
Long House in Kampung Bunuk.
This place isn't as original as the Iban Long House,
as it has been commercialized for tourism
since few years back.

Hook!!
Legend has a said:
The Iban warriors used to hang the head they chopped here,
the more skulls they collected,
the more fearsome they were among the community.
They were known as 'Head Hunters' of Borneo
Hmmm, scary isn't it?
Beware: Please watch your steps in Iban Long House,
there are plenty of "DONT" around,
there may be guardian spirits everywhere!

The River of Life
Flow river, flow ...
Water supply from the river has served the
life of the villagers loyally without knowing actually,
they are slowly polluting their most
precious treasure.
Household waste, rubbish, detergents
are all dumped into the mouth of river mercilessly ...

Dry Cocoa
Wanna have some home-made Milo?

Another group picture at the Long House

Somehow or rather,
I kinda miss Kolo Mee in Kuching,
been 3 months since I last went home.
What else?
Sweet icy Metahorne,
the iconic 3 Layers Teh C Peng,
hmmm, yum yum ...

Happy Weekends,
Cheers,
KeithK :)
