"Just like a tattoo ... "

I am hooked up with this song; "Tattoo" by Jordin Sparks ... Jordin has since made a promising start in music industry after she won the reality-talent show, American Idol Season 6. She can sing well, and this song definitely caught my ear when I first heard it. Remember to play this song here, and share with me your opinion ooh ...

The chorus part is very meaningful ...

[Chorus]
I can't waste time so give it a moment
I realize, nothing's broken
No need to worry 'bout everything I've done
Live every second like it was my last one
Don't look back at a new direction
I loved you once, needed protection
You're still a part of everything I do
You're on my heart just like a tattoo

(Just like a tattoo, I'll always have you
I'll always have you, I'll always have you)

Have a nice day, everyone ...

Twist, Twist and Twist!

This afternoon, I learned how to do "wire-locking" techniques. In short, "wire-locking" is a process where wire is locked up the aircraft's fasteners such as bolts, nuts, cable fittings and turnbuckles in position so that these fasteners will not loosen due to severe vibration during the operation of aircraft. In the beginning, we were taught how to twist the wire around the nuts and bolts, as well as the safety precaution when performing this task. Last Friday, I had a hard time doing wire locking; encountering a lots of difficulties for instance, the wire is too short, loose twisting, untidy arrangements, incorrect methods and so forth ... However, today, I learn to do it correctly, after many trials, I get the hang of it. It isn't that hard, if you do it properly. My instructor, Mr Misni is so patient and willing to teach me because I have nagged him several times to show me the wire-locking process, again and again. I ask him many questions, hopefully he doesn't piss off with me. Mr Misni had taught me the skills I required (jerking, twisting, pig-tailing) Enjoy doing wire locking this afternoon with the pneumatic components in METC workshop. By the way, I did the wire-locking manually with my hands, as the areas of working were quite restricted. Haha ... Painful ooh my fingers, when I first twisted the wire, but eventually I felt it was not so much of challenges. Wire-locking is only one of the BASIC skills for a LAE. There are more to learn ooh. Hehe :D

This is the wire used for locking.
This wire comes in various sizes in diameter,
depending on the types of fasteners that are being locked.
These wire is mainly made of coated Aluminum Alloys
and Stainless Steel.

With this tool (Wire Twister), life becomes easier.
It is able to twist the wire smoothly with equal spacing.
It is fast and accurate.
Not forgotten, it will not cause pain in your fingers XD
as in the case of manual twisting with hands.
However, it cannot be used in restricted working area.

This is just not RIGHT!

This morning, my class had an oral session for Module 6 (Material & Hardware) in preparation for our final examination which will be scheduled on March. For the lucky number 1, the person is ME. My instructor was "bombarding" and "firing the air-strike" on me all about the characteristics of metals. Close enough, after much debating and explaining with him, I managed to convince him to release me. Oouch ... It was very tensing indeed. After my turn, the rest of of my classmate proceeded. To my surprise, some of them actually have the courage to sound, " Sir, I didn't read about anything! I don't know the answers" Imagine you hear that, how would you feel? Angry? Annoying? Frustrated? Ok, now, you try to stand into the instructor's shoes. How would he feel? They have been trying their very best to teach us and deliver all their knowledge to equip us for our future and benefits, however, someone has just taken it for granted. Fine, keep it to yourself ... Next, there was someone who actually pretending they were answering the orals, but the fact was they were holding notes in their hands with them, covering them from being spotted by the instructor. These really pissed me off. Oh well, I salute those who actually tell the instructor that they were unprepared, at least they were being honest. However, I am really disappointed and angry with those who "CHEATED" in the orals. It doesn't mean that I am a smart ass or genius, but if you really put the efforts and study the notes provided, I am sure everyone can please the instructor. No doubt, we have our own life after classes, but come to think about it, dedicating 2hours per day to read your notes isn't too demanding and impossible. I don't like to use the word "cheat" cause it is very rude but this time I just can't hold it back. For me, we should be honest with ourselves, either in studies or life matters, because if you cheat someone, it means you are cheating yourself and GOD Almighty. Even if you get through the oral this time, does it means you will get through your examinations in future? Yes or No? Only you know the answer clearly ...

A Paid-Of Gamble

Nani celebrated the 3rd goal
with a flying acrobatic somersault ...

Manchester United blew Arsenal's balloon in the FA Cup quarter final earlier this morning by sending them packing home with sensational 4-0 defeat at Old Trafford in front of 75 000 crowd. ManUtd started of the game fiercely, playing with long balls and high crosses which eventually caught Arsenal running aimlessly to cope with the pressure. Christiano Ronaldo was left out of the squad, alongside Carlos Tevez, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes ahead of their Champions League meeting with Olmpique Lyon on next Wednesday. Luiz Nani who played behind Wayne Rooney put up amazing football and unique crosses where he played major roles in assisting two goals by Darren Flecther. Rooney broke the duck by heading home in front of Jen Lehman after feeding a header by Anderson. Nani wrapped up the quarter final spot by firing a low drive into the corner goal post after receiving a pin-point pass from Michael Carrick.

Fantastic game with goals are flying. Really a "should-not miss" game to watch as The Gunner was whacked painfully in the ass by the ferocious Red Devil. I was wearing my newly-bought ManUtd's jersey when watching the game and it was certainly a memorable "opening ceremony" for it. Haha (",)

What Valentine means to me?

!4th February every year is celebrated worldwide as Valentine Day, a day where couples will exchange their love, hugs, kisses and vow their promises to stand by each other forever. This year, Valentine Day is nothing much significant to me, except I have made a promise to myself. Well, all this while, I was strangled by my past experience with this girl (Silky Pink) I met her recently, I thought I will feel awkward and uneasy when I meet her and her guy, but after all, I realize I have no longer any feeling to her. No doubt, we had memorable time, sharing together with laughter and cries but all these are now recorded as history in myself. Nothing much to lose, as I have learned my mistakes. Hehe :0 Life must go on right?. Well, if I were to meet another girl who could touch my heart and "melt me into liquid", I will never let her go this time! (hey, stop your horses!) Lolz ...

Wondering when I am going to meet the girl IN my DREAM?
Lolz ...

Could she be her?

Haha (",)
When time comes, it will come ...
Nothing to be worried of now ...
Happy Singles Day!

My new Jersey

ManUtd's home jersey - NIKE

Bought a Manchester United's home jersey this morning. Wow ... So excited with the jersey and I can't wait to put it up and walk proudly on the street to tell everyone that I am a big fan of ManUtd. Lolz :) Actually, I was quite disappointed as ManUtd lost to Man City in a derby match which eventually gave up the top spot to their bitter rival, Arsenal. With 12 games remaining in the EPL campaign, ManUtd must start to pull up the socks and show their real potential to retain the Champions title. This week will mark a vital match for ManUtd as they go head to head with Arsenal in the quarter final of English classic championship, The FA Cup. Them, the week after, they will clash with Lyon in the Uefa Champions League knock-out phase. Definitely it is a big week for ManUtd. It is a do-it-or-break-it situation. The fate of the champion will be determined in these matches, either they can be hero or zero.

A Small Small World ...

A rewind of what happened when I was flying back to KCH from KLIA on the 5th February 2008 for the Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner. To begin, for the first time, I had to pay full fare for a MAS ticket because all these while I am flying around the world with MAS Staff Load ticket. Obviously, full fare price will cost me an arm and a leg as compares to staff loads offer. Imagine, it costs me MYR 361 for a SINGLE trip from KUL-KCH. Wow ...

Well, thanks to Timotai, for the first time I tried on the latest E-Ticketting System in KLIA. very convenient system where you can direct check-in by yourself at the Automatic Check-In Machine on the Fifth Floor Departure Hall. Haha, for the first time also, I tested my ENRICH Travel Card and key-in my points. ENRICH is very much similar to typical BONUSLINK, and you can exchange the points for rewards by the end of the day. As ENRICH members, you have a few privileges, namely a few, such as: 1)Choosing your seating place in aircraft, 2)Early boarding into aircraft, 3)Dicsount for any purchases at ENRICH stores and the list goes on ... Haha, for more information on ENRCIH, do feel free to log in to www.malaysiaairlines.com

Initially, I was given seat at 24D in the B737-400 aircraft. As an ENRICH member, I switched my seat from 24D to 19C. So, it was a little forward of the aircraft. To my surprise, I met a stewardess who sat beside me, 19C. She is also a Kuchingnite, travelling back for CNY. She wore a black whitery skirt above knee, hair tied up with a cute ponytail, pretty (obviously), fair, and **cough** Enough of description. She introduced herself as Miss Ji Ji Bong. Nice name, huh? We chatted all the way during the 1hour 45minutes flight, exchanging our travel experiences with MAS. A supposedly long-boring flight turned out to be a fun and exciting journey. After the flight had touched down, we shoke hand and wished each other a happy CNY before we left to part our way.

Dad was waiting for me at the arrival hall. Standing beside him was my relative. I never seen this guy before, but after further explanation from Dad, I finally recollected my memory. Hehe ...
Another shock again, Dad told me that our relative was waiting for his sister, who is coincidently the stewardess who sat beside me earlier. Lolz ... Haha ...

Soon, Dad introduced me again to Ji Ji. She was in great shock (really shock) to find that I am Mr Kueh's son. Hehe :) OMG, I never know any of my relative is a stewardess. ~~ Oooohhh ~~ Hmmm, I don't really know how to address Ji Ji because our family tree is very complicated, so I just called her "Che Che" ... Hehe ...

Really a small world,
I thought deep inside my heartcore ...

Thanks to Timotai also,
because of you, I have met Ji Ji

Jump Seat (2)

This morning, I was awaken by the "bang bang" sounds of the lion dance in the neighborhood. Had an early lunch as I am going to catch my flight back to KL at 1105am by using "jump seat" for 2nd time. Yeah ... Mum sent me to airport while dad was obtaining approval from pilots for my "jump seat". Haha. Guess who I met? Mdm Jane, my chemistry teacher in St Thomas. She was sending off her nieces. Actually, Chung Ann and me were planning to visit Mdm Jane's house yesterday, but due to time constraint, we couldn't make it. Great, and today, I see Mdm Jane in airport and wish her a happy chinese new year. After got my boarding pass from dad, I rushed into the terminal and boarded in the A330 - 300 (MH 2507) with two pilots, Mr Cpt (don't know the name) and Co - pilot, Mr Abg Zamri. Seats were all full with 'heads' with capacity of 299 people on board, even the crew seats were used as passenger seats. Wow! That's alot le ... Flight was delayed by 15minutes due to late check-in but because Abg Zamri flew the aircraft with full throttle, we reached KLIA ahead of schedule by 10minutes. Cut short the story, I reached home in Kelana Jaya by 1545 hours, unpacked all my stuffs and head to bed for a short nap but ended up I had been sleeping for 1.5hours. Hehe ...

A330 - 300

MH 2507 (KCH - KUL)

Hmmmm, going back to METC tomorrow and classes will resume again. Category B has just begun and I really need to buck up and pull up my socks now. Not more 'lepak lepak' time in class. Must remove the 'tak apa' attitude and struggle for the best!
Yeah, Keith ... All the best!!

Research in TRC

This afternoon, there were no class in METC as Mr Konas, our Electrical Instructor was not around. In the morning, we had English, and trust me, you will find it is a dry subject as we were taught back to the basic. Boredom wraps me up, and it is killing time! Sigh T.T

I created a milestone as for the first time I actually went to METC Technical Resource Centre to read aircraft manuals for Boeing 747-400. Surprisingly, it didn't make me fall asleep as per normal. Manuals is very important for a LAE as it is regarded as the "Holy Bible"... aaaa leluyah! This is because all of our maintenance tasks on aircraft are based on the manuals. Managed to learn and dig new knowledge there as I came across the following ATA Chapters;
21 Air Conditioning
26 Fire Protection
27 Flight Control
29 Hydraulics
32 Landing Gears
34 Navigation
52 Doors
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tomorrow I am flying home to Kuching with a firm ticket this time. I don't wanna take risks and miss the Reunion Dinner. Mum and Dad definitely will not be happy with it. Haha (",) Oh ya, I bought new shoes for CNY; a NIKE AIR Silver Colour shoes. Will post the pictures later. My apologies ya.

Things that I gonna do in KCH:
**Promise sis to buy her new skirt
Clean my room (maybe, but unlikely, cause I don't recall when was the last time I cleaned them)
Cook "Fatt Choi" Dish for Mum and Dad ( hope I don't mess up the kitchen, tee hee)
and the list goes on ...

Happy Chinese New Year, everyone ...

Beijing Trip - Day6 (Conclusion)

Last day in Beijing before we took our flight in the evening to Malaysia. Nothing much plans were arranged except visiting China's new landmark. Newly constructed in the year of 2008 for the purpose of worldwide sport with its slogan, "One World, One Dream". Ok, start guessing now? 3,2,1 ... Yeah, you are right! It is the China Olympic Stadium (aka Bird Nest) This Stadium is built in the city centre which links to various sport arenas within distances away. It will be officially used to launch the Olympic opening Ceremony on 8:08pm, 8th of August 2008. Do you know why? 8 means "fatt fattt" in Chinese.
Haha :)

BlackOUT!

Have you experienced BLACKOUT? This morning, I had a taste of it. As I was sick for the last few days, down with flu, headache and sore throat, I couldn't ask for a repeat of this bad experience. It was horrifying. I woke up, went to washroom to clean myself, the suddenly, my head was spinning 360 degrees, my vision became blur and I lost control of my body. I felt like almost fell down. Quickly, I walked to my room, hoping to lay down and pray for conditions to get better. I opened the door and ..... Tup! I fell down and fainted. The moment I fell down was the worst. Cold sweat was drippling down my head, legs and hands were as cold as ice, flashes of stars and lights came to your sight, and I had hurt my toes as well. (Shit)

I lay down on the floor for quite something before I regained consciousness. In my heart, I was thinking, could it because of hunger that i had a blackout or something else? I hope it was because of hunger, as I had skipped my dinner and slept for the whole night. Horrifying sick ...

Sick

Chinese New Year is just around the corner, but I have been shot down with terrible FLU, HeadACHE, and SORE throat. And yes, I am SICK now. Days have been very long when you are sick. Things like; cannot concentrate in class, nose in running wild, the pain in the throat is hard to withstand. Also, you will realize my voices change, I am speaking like a duck! Cold sweat is dripping down my face every time. Sneezing, sneezing and then sneeze again. Disaster!! Hehe :)

My plan has been disrupted as I am down with illness. Few things that I need to do:
1)Buy new shoes for CNY (priority)
2)Buy mandarin oranges to METC
3)Get Mum some cookies from here

Haiz, what the f*** ! I shouldn't sick at these time.

Dear friends,
please pray for me to get well soon.

Until now. with love
KeithK
